- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup onion chopped
- 1/4 cup celery chopped
- 3 cups chicken cubed cooked
- 10 flour tortillas torn into bite-size pieces
- 1 can chicken soup undiluted
- 1 can green chilies chopped
- 3/4 cup cheddar cheese shredded,divided
- 3/4 cup Monterey Jack cheese shredded,divided
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 cup salsa
- Take the broth, onion, and celery.
- Take a saucepan and put the broth, onion, and celery into it. Boil them.
- Reduce the heat. Cover and simmer them for about 7 minutes.
- Take a large bowl and put the broth, onion, and the celery into it.
- Take the chicken meat, tortillas, soup, chilies, 0.5 cup of cheddar cheese, 0.5 cup of Monterey Jack cheese, and pepper. Put them into the large bowl.
- Take a 11×7 inches baking dish and transfer all the previous ingredients into it.
- Take the salsa and remaining cheese. Create the top layer over the ingredients with them.
- Prepare the oven and increase the temperature to 350o F.
- Bake and uncover for about 35 minutes.
